Ingrid Jungermann’s debut film opens in U.S theaters on July 26

Women Who Kill from New York-based writer/director Ingrid Jungermann opens in U.S theaters next month.

According to EW, “the story is about two podcasters (played by Jungermann and Ann Carr) in Brooklyn’s Park Slope neighborhood, who host a My Favorite Murder-style show about female serial killers. They’re also ex-girlfriends, and the wheels of their professional friendship begin to grind when Jungermann’s character starts dating a danger girl from the local co-op (Sheila Vand of A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night)”.

Women Who Kill won the Jury Award for Best Screenplay for a U.S. Narrative Feature at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival, the Jury Prize for Best Feature Film at the Oslo/Fusion International Film Festival 2016 and the Outfest Grand Jury Award for Best Screenwriting in a U.S. Feature that same year.  Ingrid was also nominated in 2015 by the Writers Guild of America for her web series F to 7th.
