Fabio Friedli – Palm Springs Shortfest 2017 Director to Watch

Fabio Friedli – In a Nutshell

Fabio Friedli’s latest short In a Nut Shell screens opening night (June 20) at the 2017 Palm Springs Shortfest. From a seed to war, from meat to love, from indifference to apocalypse, Fabio’s work is an attempt to capture the world in a nutshell. The animation artist arranged a web of connections to encompass the beauty and contradictory nature of life and sums it all up in a six minutes. A breath-taking kaleidoscope of associations posits what kind of world we live in, from a dildo to meat products, from a nut to a bomb. Fabio’s merciless dose of sensory overload gets right to the heart of our current zeitgeist.
