#screensparks: St Kilda Film Festival to Screen Best of Tokyo’s Short Shorts Program

For the first time Australia’s St Kilda Film Festival will program a series of the best shorts from the acclaimed Tokyo Short Shorts Film Festival Asia.

The Academy Awards-accredited festival is one of the largest short film festivals in Asia, receiving over 5000 submissions each year and is seen as a breaking ground for the next generation of Japanese and Asian directors. St Kilda will screen a series of shorts over two sessions with the first on May 22 and the second on May 27 at St Kilda Town Hall. Shorts screening include¬†Seiki Watanabe’s Piece of The Future and¬†Toshimichi Saito’s A Warm Spell.
