Lebanese director Eliane Raheb has won the Muhr Feature, Jury Prize at the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) for her documentary feature Those Who Remain. Raheb had previously been nominated for a Muhr for her 2012 documentary Sleepless Nights. Her latest documentary is about aging farmer Haykal Mikhael who lives in a Christian enclave located between Sunni Muslim and Shia Muslim villages, near the Syrian border.
DIFF launched the Muhr competition in 2006 for short films, features and documentaries originating from the United Arab Emirates and Arab world.
