#screensparks: ian hunt duffy’s ‘gridlock’ wins best irish short at cork film fest

Irish director Ian Hunt Duffy’s latest short film Gridlock is now in the running for an Oscar following his win at the 2016 Cork Film Festival. Ian’s short, about a father whose daughter goes missing during a country road trip, scored the crucial Grand Prix Irish Short Award that included €1,500 in prize money. Gridlock also picked up the Best Short Award at the Rhode Island Film Festival.
