#screensparks: afi fest preview – cannes nominee ‘limbo’ screens in shorts competition

After her 2014 short Washingtonia scored numerous awards, Greek director Konstantina Kotzamani’s Limbo screens in competition at AFI Fest this year. Limbo had its world premiere at Cannes’ La Semaine de la Critique, where it was nominated for a Discovery Award. Limbo also scored a Future Filmmaker Award at Palm Springs Shortsfest and a Best Fiction Film Award at the Sarajevo International Film Festival and is a nominee in the 2016 European Film Awards.
Limbo is a highly anticipated short, particularly among the European festival circuit, after Washingtonia won major awards at the European Film Awards and the Hellenic Film Academy Awards.
